After we got back from the Winamea Valley gardens, we decided to go snorkeling. But it was already closed. So we went in the ocean for a bit and then went over to the pool area. We enjoyed the hot tub then went for a swim. It was nice. The wind started picking up and it started to drizzle a bit. We went back to our room and got cleaned up -- then went for dinner.
We had a fantastic dinner at "the tiki hut" which is right on the sand where we go snorkeling. They have lit torches and no walls -- so you can see and hear the ocean. It's really nice. I had salmon. Kevin had butter fish. Both were awesome.
The evenings are wonderful here. There's always wind in the palms which looks from inside like it must be cold...but when you go outside, it's really nice and warm. The rain we've experienced has only lasted for 5 minutes at the most, then it blows by.
