Today was a day to poke around and do some sight seeing. After having the absolute best breakfast--I think they had all of my favorite foods: raspberries, unbelievably sweet pineapple, kiwi, papaya, persimmons, smoked salmon and capers, veggie omelets, macadamean nut cinnamon rolls. It was so good.
Then we decided to head for Pearl Harbor. Along the way we had to stop at a surf town, Hale'iwa, to buy a hat and check out the town. After trying on a hundred hats, Kevin settled on one he liked.
Then we decided to stop at the Dole plantation so I could see what a pineapple plant looked like.
